Our Typefaces
We use two typefaces in our brand communications. Klarna Title is our headline typeface, packed with offbeat energy, while Klarna Text is our workhorse, which comes in various weights.

Headline copy is used loud and proud, with body copy acting in a supporting role.

Klarna Text is designed to be used at all sizes, but as you can see, it works especially
well in smaller sizes. It’s a highly versatile, functional and robust typeface that’s a breeze
to read on both digital devices and in print.

Here’s a range of examples that show how to use and mix together our brand typefaces effectively.
Typographic alignment and layout
For clarity and impact, we align typography in three different ways depending on what we’re communicating, and the effect we want to create.
LEFT ALIGNED
Left alignment is a classic, clear way to present text, especially longer copy.
Centered
Center alignment is a more striking approach for shorter, simpler lines of text.
OFFSET
Offset is an option for when we want to be our most playful and energetic. It works well in type-only executions.
Use of color
Our typography can be in any of our three primary palette colors. This gives us a good range of possible combinations against different background hues.
Klarna Pink
Choose a background color that provides the best contrast and readability with the text.
Black
Choose a background color that provides the best contrast and readability with the text.
Off White
Choose a background color that provides the best contrast and readability with the text.
Mix
Choose a background color that provides the best contrast and readability with the text.
Misuse
For the purposes of consistency and legibility across our brand, there are certain settings that should be avoided when we are setting type.
Don’t use Klarna Title in body copy or longer text.
Don’t make letter spacing too tight.
Don’t make letter spacing too loose.
Don’t add other fonts.
Don’t use all caps as a headline.
Never right-align texts.
